Rahu can never completely be good, and we need to understand this.

For its popular placement in trishdaaye bhaav ( 3rd, 6th, 11th) it is considered as good, but does that mean that native with any of the aforementioned placements of Rahu can be free from the perturbing sides of this planet? The answer is very clearly NO. Since trishdaaye bhaav represents our want, courage, efforts, enemies, diseases and materialistic pursuits/monetary gains respectively; Rahu’s placement there expands the results of these houses, for it is a planet which is intended towards fulfillment of desires and has got a winning attitude. But with this, it is nowhere stated that Rahu in the abovesaid houses will offer only good results. For example if you are surviving any dasha of Rahu, with the abovesaid placement, you may suffer from any kind of disability in the area of health, finance, job and general happiness. As far as your mental peace is considered, it can get affected, you may feel stuck, your growth can get impacted etc. But what is special with these placements, is that Rahu is a planet that indicates head full of desires and then technique to fulfill the same. So when Rahu is placed in either of the houses it will uplift the accomplishments attached to these houses, which ultimately works toward the betterment of native.

Rahu is not all good for anyone with any placement. Its good placement should not be mistaken with its smooth placement. Rahu is bound to offer its natural property to native during its time, which indicates certain negativities going on in the mental plane during its period.

Not necessarily a bad time for career, but it is a time which brings instability in life.

1. When Rahu and Ketu are running its period together native may go through various changes, in terms of career, like change of workplace, conflicts at workplace can also show up, since Ketu during its time is intended to take the property of sun, which is ego. So facing issues from superior’s side and politics in workplace are some common things that can popup during Rahu and Ketu period.
2. Rahu represents high desires and Ketu represents detachment and non materialistic version of life. Now when they are running their period together, native may try to run behind something, which he is not likely to get. The more he tries to take a hold of something, the lesser the chances to have that thing in his bucket.
3. Rahu offers confusion and Ketu tries to cut it off- Rahu’s energy overshadows native’s thinking ability and aggravates the level of desires, wherein Ketu tries to cut off the matters that native is trying to take a control of. With this thing, let’s say, someone enters into a new love relationship during Rahu Mahadasha and Ketu Antardasha. Now everything may look very promising in the beginning, and a person may feel absolutely perfect in that relationship. But just as few days pass, he will begin to feel that his relationship is taking a different shape, giving lot of stress and could be seen as ending. And all of a sudden, he examins a loss of relationship, which he thought will be working for him. But at last he will actually realise, that relationship was not good for him. As far as marriage is concerned, Rahu – Ketu period together has proved to be one of the periods that represents dissolution of marriage. Only the sound and true relations would be able to last in this period. If marriage or relationship have been going through a tough time since long it may come to an end, during this period.
4. When it comes to career specifically, Rahu may hit your head to make various choices. In this time, Ketu will also help you to look for something which is more meaningful and long lasting to you, rather than settling down with temporary tones of career choices, which are not a very great decision for you. So this period may result in shift of career, profiles and jobs.
5. Rahu and Ketu when running its period together can drain you mentally. Because a lot is happening inside your head, a lot of karmic baggage is getting cleared and a lot of progression is awaiting. So this particular period wants you to settle with whatever is going on with you, in place of rushing. Acceptance and transformation is something that this time will teach you.
